Mahamat Idriss Déby was pronounced the winner after the Council examined and reaffirmed vote tallies, despite minor modifications.
With 61.03% of the vote, Déby triumphed, followed by his Prime Minister (18.54%) and Padacké (16.93%). 75.78% of voters cast ballots.
After the news, Succès Masra took to social media to accept the ruling, encourage composure and calm among his followers and stress the need of political solutions over more legal action.
In addition to accepting the Council’s ruling, Padacké’s campaign through his director, urged unity and the incoming president to address on the nation’s challenges.

Unlike the unrest following the provisional results announcement, which led to at least 10 deaths, Ndjamena remained calm and largely deserted after the final results.
Authorities had banned celebratory gunfire, contributing to the quiet atmosphere in the capital.
