Driver Dies in a Road Accident along Matuu-Thika Road

A driver has died after his vehicle collided with a trailer near Kwamajini area along the Matuu-Thika Road.


Police report that the driver tried to escape by jumping from the car but was unable to do so.

The vehicle was engulfed in flames as it approached Sofia Market.


Firefighters from Matuu quickly responded to the incident and extinguished the fire.

The body of the deceased was recovered and taken to Mbaku Funeral Home.

The wrecked vehicles were towed to Matuu Police Station for further investigation.
